Description
This pendant from the Geometric Collection features a garnet stone. The garnet is set with the signature “Boglioli Method”. It is bound and woven into a framework, trapping it in place permanently. The geometric garnet pendant design is inspired by tessellations. It is made from sterling and fine silver, with a slight patina applied to the surface.
Details
This pendant is 30 mm wide (1 3/16 inch) and 40 mm tall (1 9/16 inch). It comes with an 18 inch snake chain that is 1 mm thick.

A tessellation is an arrangement of shapes closely fitted together, especially of polygons in a repeated pattern without gaps or overlapping.

This semi-precious gemstone actually comes in many different colors, but red is the most popular and historically used. At one point in time it was referred to as “carbuncle”, and was enjoyed in the middle ages by clergy and nobility. It is also the birthstone for the month of January.
