These howlite earrings are from the Bound Bar Collection. They are made from Sterling silver that is bound with fine silver. The fine silver is soldered or fused in place so that it will never come undone.

The howlite earrings are about 26 mm tall (1 inch) and 6 mm wide (1/4 inch) at the widest point. The lever-back ear wires are sterling silver.

This gemstone was discovered in 1868 in Canada. It is often mistakenly referred to as “white turquoise”, as it possesses a similar veining pattern.
